Our Logo

The design outlines a shield, a symbol used in law enforcement. On the shield is a shadow of a map of the Atlantic Provinces. The acronym AWLE appears on a plate in the center top part of the shields much like a badge number would appear on a breast badge. At the bottom of the shield is a cluster of four flowers. The purple violet represents New Brunswick; the Mayflower represents Nova Scotia; the Pitcher Plan represents Newfoundland and the Lady Slipper represents Prince Edward Island. The design further describes what AWLE means. The map represents the word “Atlantic” where we live and work. The word “Women” is represented by the flowers. The words “law enforcement” are represented by the shield.
