HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, March 23, 2017 ‒ Axon Public Safety Canada Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Axon and the global leader in digital evidence management solutions with the leading body-worn camera, today announced an exciting new partnership with both the Atlantic Women in Law Enforcement (AWLE) and Ontario Women in Law Enforcement (OWLE) organizations.

The partnership is designed to support AWLE and OWLE's missions to encourage, promote and advance women in law enforcement. Axon will enable both organizations' existing Police Officer of the Year Awards to now include access to attend the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) annual conference. The keynote speaker for our Silver Anniversary Conference will be 3-time Olympian and 2-time Olympic gold medalist Heather Moyse. Heather lives by her personal motto, “Believe in the possibilities”, and inspires people all around the world with her life stories and her life philosophies. From the small Prince Edward Island town of Summerside to the top of the Olympic podium, Heather has been described as Canada’s best ever all-round female athlete, who has accomplished the unlikely not once, not twice, but multiple times by believing in those very possibilities.
